A Retreat for Two

The Tented Suite offers a still space for two, shaped by the same materials found throughout Kinara — canvas, cane, and sun-warmed timber, gathered beneath a tented roof. A king bed, or twin beds where preferred, rests beneath this canopy, with sliding mesh panels that can be drawn back to let in the sounds and air of the surrounding bush.

Rooted in Craft

The ensuite bathroom continues this sense of calm, with a freestanding bath positioned to face the river. Carved details, drawn from the geometric patterns of traditional Maasai shields, appear throughout the room, connecting each guest to the landscape and heritage that shaped the camp's design.

A Private Deck

A private deck extends from the suite, holding a temperature-controlled plunge pool that looks out over the river below. It is a place to slow down — for early mornings before the camp wakes, or for watching the light change over the plains as the day ends.
